Almost exactly five years ago (to the minute!), a baby boy made his way into the world, pink and shouting.We didn't know what the future held for him - or for us.
Now, half a decade later, that baby has grown so big.
He has achieved more than we ever dreamed 
possible.
possible. He has taught us things we never knew before.
He has given us a whole new perspective on life, and a whole new set of priorities.
He has been through more at five, than many have been through in a whole lifetime - with more to come - but he still bursts into each and every day with joy and hope and enthusiasm.
He is such a special son and brother, and we are so proud of him.
Happy fifth birthday, Charlie-Barley. We love you more than you'll ever know.

Happy 5th birthday Charlie!! We found your Blog on the internet and we wondered if it possible if James could put a link to your blog on his blog???You are a gorgeous little boy and lucky you soon it is Christmas too, more presents :O)!! James is 1 year old also missing the left side of his heart.
