July 27, 2011

Hi folks - sorry for the hiatus in blogging since our last 'big news' post - we've been on holiday in deepest, darkest Wales and the phone signal is rubbish! I've stumbled on a wi-fi hotspot, so am making use of it for five minutes!
Before anything else though, I just wanted to say a big thank you to everybody who left messages after the last post - we had SO many congratulations via the blog, Facebook, email and text. It's beyond wonderful to know that so many people across the world are rooting for us, and sharing our happiness that all seems to be going well with our newest addition to the family. Needless to say, now we've finally spilled the beans, I'll keep you posted every step of the way!
Anyway, as I said, we've had a fabulous time in Tenby - by some miracle, the weather has changed for the better and we have had some SCORCHING days. (Not ideal when you are carting around a baby bump as big as a beach ball, but FAR better than rain!)
We spent today on the beach and Charlie ran around without stopping all day long. He really is a boundless bundle of energy these days. It's fab to see.
It's been so lovely having Mum here with us, and Charlie has been relishing every moment of 'Nanny time'. He even managed to coerce her onto the big wheel at Folly Farm on Monday, which is nothing short of a miracle because she's really not keen on heights!
I'll post properly with a few photos once we've settled in back home... then Charlie's off to holiday club at the church in the village every morning next week, so there's no sign of this holiday becoming any less busy!!
