Who needs toys? #57

Rosie just emptied everything out of her toy box and climbed in... cue one very happy baby, and one very messy living room!
I only just noticed on the picture how rosy her cheeks are - her back teeth seem to be continuing to make their presence felt and she is chewing her fingers all the time, although she's still as happy as ever.
New words this week are 'sssairs' (stairs), 'odurt' (yoghurt) and 'tees' (keys). She's really trying to copy lots of our words too which is a lot of fun.
She's also got the hang of 'give it to mummy' and will (usually!) hand things over to me if I ask her.
In the last week she has settled down a lot - she's been a real livewire since she learned to crawl/cruise, and is always on the go, unless she's asleep! But all of a sudden, she's starting to sit and play nicely for longer periods, which is great.
It's funny, each new milestone is bittersweet. You can't help but look forward to each one, but at the same time, I can't help but feel a bit sad as each baby stage disappears for good.
They don't stay little for long, do they?!
