Hello everyone - well as you can see from the picture above, Charlie's Grandpa is out of hospital at last and looking remarkably well in spite of everything he's been through! He's doing really well now and doesn't seem to have any lasting repercussions after his head injury - for which we are very grateful. Now it is just a case of building up his strength, until he's up to chasing Charlie around the garden again.
Charlie is delighted that Grandpa is back home again, although I have to say I think I'll miss the swanky coffee machine in the hospital waiting room!
I'm also pleased to report that Charlie's website has now had well over 2,000 visitors from all over the globe, which I find pretty amazing!
Autumn is really setting in here in Cardiff - there's a definite nip in the air in the morning now, so Charlie's able to wear all the lovely new jumpers he's been given! He's off on a playschool trip in a couple of weeks to a local fruit farm, to pick apples. We parents then buy said apples at grossly over-inflated prices to add to the playschool coffers!! The children also get to choose the playschool's pumpkin, for the Pumpkin Party, which they run in lieu of Halloween. We've never 'done' Halloween, so that's fine by us! The only thing is, fancy dress is the order of the day again, so I'll have to come up with something creative as I don't think Charlie's doctor's set will pass muster a second time!
No more news at the moment, save to say that I have FINALLY got a new mobile phone (my number's still the same) so I feel like I'm back in the land of the living again!
