Hi everyone - just a quick update to let you know that school is a HUGE hit as far as Charlie's concerned! He's been up bright and early every morning and can't wait until he can go for the whole day instead of just mornings or afternoons!
He came out yesterday with a gold star on his jumper for reading very well, a smiley face and a 'Super!' on his written work and a gold star and a 'Well Done!' on his reading record! We're so proud of him, and so glad that he's enjoying himself so much.
I have to take his PE kit in next week because they're doing some dancing in the hall. Generally the children just wear their vest and pants, but he'll get too cold like that, so he's got a tracksuit instead. He doesn't even wander around our house in his underwear, let alone in a big, cold school hall!
Well, the weather here is shocking - as it has been all summer - and I've just read that South Wales is all set to receive a fortnight's rain in the next 24 hours, so I'd better go and dig out the wellies! Will keep you all posted on how school's going!
