Back to school today! Charlie seems loads better and went off to school very happily this morning. Although he really enjoys being at home, I think he misses his friends when he's not at school. He was most concerned that he might have missed his day for being 'Helpwr Heddiw' (it means 'Helper Today' in Welsh) - it's a very prestigious role... the helpwr heddiw gets to collect the lunch money and take the register back to the office AND wear a sticker with a dragon on it, so everyone knows how helpful they are being! So let's hope Chas didn't miss his slot when he was off sick!
It is a FREEZING day today - there was a very hard frost this morning, and it took ages to de-ice the car! Charlie was warm though, because he had his in-car heated blanket on! Nanny and Grandpa bought it for him - it's brilliant! You just plug it into the car cigarette lighter and it heats up, just like an electric blanket on the bed! I turn it on while the car's defrosting so it's nice and warm by the time we have to leave, and it keeps Charlie nice and cosy while we're waiting for the car heater to kick in.
We're off on Charlie's school trip to the wetlands tomorrow, so hopefully it won't be raining or too cold, otherwise it could end up being a pretty miserable day for everyone concerned. Charlie doesn't have to wear his uniform tomorrow, so I'm thinking there's going to be lots of layering going on! I'll try and get some pictures to put on the blog.
Not much more news really - we haven't done much this past week - just stayed at home and kept Charlie nice and warm!
