Pacemaker clinic

I forgot to mention that we've had a letter from the hospital asking us to take Charlie in for his next pacemaker check.
We go on December 20, which is after Chas breaks up from school, so he won't need to take any time off.
I'm a bit anxious about it, to be honest. We haven't been to the hospital since the summer, and although Charlie is doing brilliantly, I still get scratchy before we have to take him in for a checkup.
I'm particularly stressed this time round because of the palaver we had last time about Charlie's heart rate. In case you've forgotten, his consultant was concerned that his heart-rate was too fast - and we were sent into a panic by the mention of atrial tachycardia and implanted defibrillators.
As it turned out, the pacemaker clinic reviewed Charlie and said that his heart-rate was actually pretty normal for a child of his age, but I'd be lying if I said it hasn't played on my mind since then.
I just want everything to be ok for my beautiful boy.
I also need to reschedule his INR clinic appointment (when he has to have two blood tests to calibrate our monitor with the hospital machine) because we should have been there this week, but had to cancel because he had been sick and his INR was all over the place.
We'll also have to go back to the hospital for his usual cardiac check-up in the next month or so, but we haven't had the date for that appointment yet.
I'll keep you posted.

Hi there, I found your blog via Google while searching for first aid for a heart attack and your post looks very interesting for me.
