Pete got up at 5am to leave for London, but decided to work from home when he saw that a fair few inches of snow had fallen overnight... and came straight back to bed!
School was still open despite the snow, so Charlie went in for the last day of term and handed out all the presents for his teachers... then, less than an hour later, the school closed because of the weather so we went and picked him up again.
He was delighted to start the holidays early, and had loads of fun romping around in the snow with his friends when he got home.
Now we're all snug and warm inside, Charlie's munching pretzels, I'm wrapping presents and we're watching Muppet's Christmas Carol!
You gotta love Christmas!

That sounds like the perfect day! Sometimes "snowed in" isn't so bad. :) Enjoy! :)
What a lovely day you've had. That sounds fantastic. Steve drove all the way into Cardiff then turned round and came home again! It's great just to relax and tuck into some Christmas snacks!!
