Happy Fontanniversary, Charlie!

Exactly a year ago, Pete and I were sitting on ITU, watching our boy battling a raging thirst after he woke up after about six hours in the operating theatre. It is hard to believe that a whole year has gone by since Charlie had the Fontan surgery and pacemaker insertion which have revolutionised his life. What a year it has been. Charlie has done so brilliantly, and we couldn't be more proud of him. I can hardly wait to see what the next year has in store. We love you Charlie - you're a star.

your road has been full of ups and downs as well! so glad that Charlie is doing well now. Praying that it continues and that he can enjoy life to the fullest! thank you for your prayers and that of your mom's. it is hard to see our children suffer no matter how old they are.
