We headed off to Cardiff Castle this afternoon for their 'Medieval Melee' - it was great fun and Charlie really enjoyed himself.
He joined in with some story-telling and had a go at stave fighting.
I'm attaching a few pics of him striking his own medieval coin, learning how to sword fight and meeting a dragon!
It was a great afternoon - and totally free. If you live or work in Cardiff, you can get a 'castle key' to get into the castle free of charge - saved us almost £30!
We've got a busy week ahead - let's hope the weather stays fine!
