Bathtime!

We spent the day in Cardiff today because Charlie wanted to spend some of his birthday money. He had a great time wandering around the shops, and Rosie was as good as gold all day.
However, just as we arrived home, she presented us with such an explosive nappy that we had no alternative but to sling her straight in the bath.
Mum bought this new bath for her and it's fabulous - it's only little, so she feels nice and snug in it, it has a comfy foamy bit for her head to rest on, and is shaped to support her between her legs so she feels very safe, and whoever is bathing her has both hands free to wash her. Charlie loves helping out, and is a dab hand with the sponge and baby shampoo!
She really seems to be quite a water baby - she loves just sitting in the bath, kicking her legs and watching what's going on around her.
We're thinking of braving the cinema tomorrow afternoon - Charlie's keen to see Tintin, and it's showing in the afternoon when Rosie is fairly likely to be asleep. The film has been out for a couple of weeks so I'm guessing the cinema will be pretty quiet anyway. And if worst comes to worst, I'll just sit and feed her in the dark for the whole hour and a half! I'm hoping it's a successful outing because we want to go and see Arthur Christmas next month too - you can't beat kids' Christmas films to get you in the festive spirit!
I'm actually quite looking forward to seeing a whole film - while I was pregnant I tended to sleep through most of them! So watch this space to see how we get on!
