This is a bit scary...

So, Charlie just had his photo taken for his new passport and his school bus pass.
How did my little boy suddenly get so grown up?!
The fact he has to maintain a 'neutral expression' probably doesn't help (it certainly adds to the 'convict mugshot' quality...) but he's getting so big these days. There's not much of the little boy left anymore.
It's bittersweet - I sometimes really miss the cute little blond boy who was toddling around when I first started this blog in 2006, but at the same time, I never really dared even dream this far ahead - it is so amazing to see him grow and thrive, and head towards independence. It won't be long before the teenage years are upon us.
Priceless, amazing, miraculous and terrifying all at the same time!
