Hi folks.
I thought I'd show you a pic of the long-awaited gas fire! I can't believe we've finally got a working fire after all these years!
Charlie's very pleased with it, and is hoping we get a really cold snap soon so he can snuggle up by the fire! (Please ignore the black wire along the skirting board... the old fire had a white wire, so I need to dig out some paint!)
We had a nice day today - we went out with my friend Kelly and her girls, Seren and Jasmine.
We went to a kids' cafe which was great because we could have a good natter while the kids played.
Then after lunch we headed for the museum - after Charlie and Seren had a ride on a roundabout in the town square!
Chas loves museums - he's already planning a trip to the Natural History and British Museums when we're down in London.
The one we went to today was quite small, but the kids had loads of fun looking at all the exhibits.
Not much more news at the moment - we've got a busy few weeks ahead - days out with friends, shopping with Mum and then heading off to London before too long.
The school holidays are flying by - so we're trying to cram in as much as we can before Charlie goes back to school.
Happy times.
