About Me
- Pete, Ali, Charlie and Rosie
- Welcome to Charlie's News! Charlie was born on November 5, 2003, minus the left side of his heart - a complex congenital heart defect known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He had two open-heart surgeries in his first five months, and had his third stage Fontan completion in March 2010, aged six-and-a-half. Charlie's heart is special - but not as special as he is!

Ali you have some really lovely photos of your beloved Dad, I think my favourites have to be the one of baby Charlie on Grandpa's lap having a story and the one of you in your Dad's arms as a little girl, also some lovely ones from the anniversary meal, loads of love xxxx
That was lovely. I balled my eyes out and it was very therapeutic.
