Panic over!

Fortunately the queue at A&E disappeared pretty quickly, so it didn't take too long for Charlie to be seen.
And even more fortunately, he hasn't broken any bones - it was just a bog-standard bump!
The doctor prodded and poked and decided he didn't need an X-ray after all (which is great news, because Chas has been zapped with more than enough radiation in his short life, so I'd rather avoid it if at all possible!)
So we're back home and all is well. Phew.
I'm glad I could tell them that the liaison nurse had told me to bring him in because I HATE HATE HATE to look like a neurotic mother!!

Now, I think I'll have the coffee I was about to make when the school rang!
