Like mother, like son...

Pete is watching Formula One racing on TV, much to Charlie's annoyance.
Chas doesn't like motor racing any more than I do.
He just turned to Pete, having unsuccessfully tried to persuade him to change channels, and said:
"I just don't get it Dad. It's just little men, in little cars, going round and round the same little track..."

I couldn't have put it better myself! :-)
